Research Poster: Social Behavior in Groups of Mating Male and Female Bean Beetles [file]

In my junior year of high school, I did some behavioral biology research at Clayton State University. I worked with Dr. Barbara Musolf to analyze male social behaviors in groups of mating Callosobruchus maculatus, or bean beetles.

This is the poster for that research, on which I collaborated with Dr. Musolf and Britney M. D. Howard, a post-baccalaureate student who was also working with us. This poster won first place for research posters at Clayton State University’s Academic Conference.

I also wrote my Common App essay on this research when I was applying to colleges in 2015.
